When it comes to having a great night watching idols’ performances, everyone thinks about “Inkigayo.” The South Korean music program has gained fans’ hearts worldwide because of their amazing dynamics during the show, however, they must wait for a little, while “Inkigayo” takes a break for three weeks.
On December 17, SBS shared a short statement announcing that “Inkigayo” would be taking a three-week break through December 31, starting today. The show is going to be replaced for this short period with the coverage of the 2023-2024 ISU Short Track Speed Skating World Cup.
The show entered into a hiatus because they want to prepare for the 2023 SBS Gayo Daejeon, which will air on December 25. As the end of the year comes closer, the shows have multiple tricks up their sleeves to say goodbye to a sensational year for Kpop music.
Fans must wait to watch their favorite idols making their comebacks and promoting their music. Surely, “Inkigayo” is going to have a great 2024 as multiple idols are going to release new music, including BLACKPINK who renewed their contract earlier this month.
