With the arrival of the end of the year, the renowned Guinness World Records made a list of the biggest milestones of the year, which thrilled K-Pop fans by integrating the achievements of Lisa and BLACKPINK, the group to which she belongs.
In this new list, Guinness World Records names Lisa and BLACKPINK as K-Pop acts with the most milestones this year, revealing that the great effort they have put into their careers has served to honor them today.
In this new publication, the well-known book mentions “2023 was a great year for K-pop” and goes on to announce the records set by Lisa: “The first solo K-pop winner at the MTV Video Music Awards and the first solo K-pop winner at the MTV Europe Music Awards, plus the record for the most followers on Instagram for a K-pop artist“.
But this was not all, as “BLACKPINK became the most listened-to female group on Spotify, and Lisa again made history when her track ‘LALISA’ became the first K-pop song by a solo artist to reach one billion streams on Spotify“.
Beyond these great records, the girls also went on a World Tour that received hundreds of acclaim and was named the highest grossing K-pop act’s Tour by Billboard magazine, adding another milestone to the girls’ career in just this year, 2023.
