According to Deadline‘s report on December 12th, the renowned American actor Andre Braugher sadly passed away at the age of 61. A publicist was who informed the American press that the real causes of his sudden death are still unknown, but some media claim that it was due to an illness.
Andre Braugher is faithfully remembered for his leading role in the series ‘Brooklyn Nine-Nine‘, as well as his interpretation of detective Frank Pembleton in the drama ‘Homicide: Life on the Street‘, in which he was present for six seasons and for which the actor won an Emmy.
Subsequently, the actor played many relevant characters in very important series; even so, his second Emmy award came in 2006 thanks to his role as ‘Nick Atwater’ in the miniseries ‘Thief‘ for FX Networks, as he made a really impeccable performance.
Currently, the actor was part of a major production that would be available on Netlfix, entitled ‘The Residence‘, which has been left unfinished since Andre Braugher was expected to star in it and, in view of his death, cannot continue.
