BTS’ Jungkook created such a buzz during 2023 because of his highly-acclaimed debut album, “GOLDEN,” which broke numerous records worldwide. This defining era consecrated Jungkook as one of the greatest in the Kpop scene. However, he had to stop his music career for a while to enlist in the military with BTS’ remaining members to end their hiatus in 2025.
On December 12, KST. Jungkook surprised his fans, better known as ARMY, on Weverse with a live-stream titled, “I’ll go and come back well.” The idol started this emotional session with heartbroken words as he kept reminding the ARMY he was going to enlist later that day, he also said he sent off V and RM to the military on December 11 and came back to clean a little bit.
The idol has been pretty emotional in the last couple of days, but he also wanted to make sure ARMY would be okay during this little hiatus. He wants everyone to take care of themselves and remain healthy when he comes back. He feels his heart is a bit unsettled, but he needs to rest and focus to do everything well for his enlistment.
BTS’ Jungkook ended his live stream on Weverse by thanking the ARMY for their support to all members of BTS as they entered the military. He emphasized he needed them to stay healthy and happy and almost couldn’t hold back tears when the moment to say goodbye came and expressed how much he was going to miss them all.
