Bad news for K-Pop fans came out recently when soloist WOODZ announced his military enlistment through a heartfelt letter on social media, revealing that he made the decision to no longer postpone his obligations to the country, so he took a definite date to go serve.
The idol revealed through his letter the exact date: “I will enlist on January 22nd, 2024“, which caused much sadness among WOODZ fans since in less than two months he should be retiring from the stage until he successfully completes his military service.
He shared a thought that he has often had: “Enlistment had always seemed far away, but as the deadline to serve approached, I started to think about the military, accepting that it is my duty and that I will leave for a short time to serve the country, not as WOODZ, but as the young man, Cho Seungyoun“.
He also expressed his deep gratitude to his fan base with the following message: “I am very thankful that my memories were full of precious and happy moments with MOODZ. I will come back even healthier, so I hope everyone will also stay healthy and remember to be happy wherever you are”.
