We love how much information they have to give us in advance so that we have it on our radar, but since there is already so much information, we are very stimulated and with that, more options in the market. That’s why Dune 2 is not out yet, but we already have information about Dune 3. It was known that there would be 3 parts of the Dune movies, and the first one received a lot of support even though it is not the best movie at all, so it is very interesting how a number 3 is already on the way.
Dune director reveals information about the third part
To be honest what gives me the most excitement about the new Dune movie is seeing Zendaya working in front of the screen, so I’m more than happy with that, although an average fan would expect much more and the director is willing to do so, already giving us information about a third installment even though the second one is yet to be released.
Recently Denis Villenueve spoke about the third installment of the Dune films:
“Right now, the script is being written and it’s almost finished, although it’s not quite finished. It’s going to have to take some time.” “For me, it’s a dream to be able to make a third film, because, it makes all the sense to finish the story.”
Dune: Part 2 will hit theaters worldwide on March 1, 2024. And if you don’t know what Dune is about, here is the synopsis
In the year 10191 the desert planet Arrakis, fief of the Harkonnen family for generations, falls into the hands of the House of Atreides by order of the Emperor. In doing so, he cedes to them the exploitation of the spice reserves, the most valuable raw material in the galaxy, necessary for interstellar travel and also a drug capable of amplifying consciousness and extending life. Duke Leto (Oscar Isaac), the lady Jessica (Rebecca Ferguson) and their son, Paul Atreides (Timothée Chalamet), arrive on Arrakis hoping to maintain the good name of their house and be faithful to the emperor, but they will soon become involved in a plot of betrayal and deceit that will lead them to question their trust among their closest friends and to value the locals, the Fremen, a lineage of desert dwellers with a close relationship with the spice.
What do you think about it? Do you think the second part will be better than the first one? Are you willing to see all 3 parts of the movie?
