ATEEZ’s San and Wooyoung are mistaken for lovers for having tattoos as a couple

During an appearance on the ‘My Neighborhood Friend Kangnami’ show of Kangnam, a former M.I.B member, San and Wooyoung from ATEEZ were mistaken to be lovers because they have tattoos as a couple, which shows the importance of the friendly relationship that exists between these two idols.

While everyone set up a tent, Wooyoung revealed that he is actually very close to his partner San, and to seal a deep bond, they decided to get tattoos together; however, the show’s host, Kangnam, assured that it was ‘weird‘.

Wooyoung tried to explain that it is a very meaningful thing, and it was the first idea that came to his mind since he likes tattoos so much. However, when Kangnam realizes that San has no tattoo other than the friendship tattoo, he grimaces, hinting that it is a strange demonstration of love between friends.

The comments made by Kangnam, together with his grimaces, caused annoyance among netizens, who accused the former member of M.I.B. of being a homophobic person and having toxic masculinity behavior, as he does not believe it is possible for two men to show affection to each other without a love bond.
