BTS’ Jungkook achieves platinum certification with “GOLDEN” in Japan

BTSJungkook has been the talk of the town since the release of “GOLDEN” on November 3. The album was intended for the American market because it was entirely in English but it succeeded overseas, including Japan.

The Golden Maknae became a global phenomenon with his title track, “Standing Next to You” and his singles, “Seven” and “3D.” The album spawned numerous hit singles and became one of the favorites of the BTS members and its latest certifications demonstrate it.

The Recording Industry Association of Japan, better known as RIAJ, has announced its latest batch of official certifications. Jungkook’s highly-anticipated debut album, “GOLDEN” earned official platinum certifications for over 250,000 units in Japan.

Undoubtedly, Jungkook keeps demonstrating he is the definition of success in the Kpop scene. Despite his enlistment, his success is going to keep writing history for the next couple of months.
