All right, Kpop lovers, get ready for this tea! Jeon Somi has sparked some online controversy after interacting with hate posts on social media. That’s right, the “Fast Forward” idol was caught red-handed and users took a screenshot of the unusual behavior.

So here’s how it all went down: on X (formerly known as Twitter) some users with a lot of free time started a new trend. It all has to do with them name-dropping groups or solo acts they dislike and adding “but we like you” with an artist they do like at the end.

One of the tweets in question involved a person saying they disliked YG Entertainment artists, such as BIGBANG, TREASURE, WINNER, IKON, 2NE1. While the tweet didn’t mention BLACKPINK, some assumed this person disliked every act in that company, which would include them but it’s not certain.

Here’s where it gets juicy: Somi to that same tweet replied, saying “Yay they like me,” but quickly deleted the response. After this, fans of YG Entertainment groups thought she was indirectly shading these groups, while others considered Somi was just joking around.

What’s your take on this X drama?
