As part of Variety magazine’s “Actors on Actors” issue, the actors engaged in an emotional conversation in which they recalled anecdotes related to the film, which was released 17 years ago.
“I remember walking into the room and seeing you there. I instantly thought, ‘What a movie star.’ You were spilling stardust,'” he assured, touching Blunt.
“You were the warmest hug and so good to me. Despite the fact that you were a colossal movie star at the time, you treated me as a complete equal to you always.”
No doubt seeing both artists together brought a big smile to everyone’s face, as they were undoubtedly iconic roles for a movie that would quickly become a favorite of an entire generation.
