Will Smith shares details of the expected ‘I am Legend’ sequel

On the night of December 2nd, during the Red Sea International Film Festival in Jeddah, Will Smith shared details of the long-awaited sequel to ‘I Am Legend‘, which was confirmed to be set in 2022 and will feature actor Michael B. Jordan, which surprised many fans.

During the event, Wil expressed the following: “Tomorrow I have an appointment with Michael B. Jordan; we are very close to achieving something big“. Shortly after, he was also excited and revealed, “We have advanced a lot; the script has just arrived“, so filming could be about to begin.

However, he soon realized that he was not doing the right thing and ended his update on the upcoming production by saying, “I think I’m revealing a lot of information“. These new details have surely excited all fans who are eagerly awaiting this project.

Wanting to reveal a bit of what the next installment will be about, the renowned actor shared that, as fans will remember, “In the first film version, my character dies, but in the DVD there was an alternate version of the ending where my character lived“, and ended by saying that they will start from this version.
