Are BTS’ members the new kings of pop? A new Michael Jackson documentary may hint at it

Michael Jackson’s influence is still present in almost every artist who seeks excellence, Jackson’s magnum opus, “Thriller” was released almost 40 years ago. The album became the best-selling album of all time and in its 40th anniversary, and this was celebrated with a brand-new documentary.

This new documentary featured esteemed professional dancers, producers, actors, fellow musicians, and singers in order to exalt Michael’s artistry. The fans expected everything but BTS’ special mention and their fans, better known as ARMY, went crazy about it.+

The culture and music journalist, Steven Ivory, declared that BTS’ “Dynamite” had such a powerful choreography, and it was heavily influenced by Michael Jackson. In addition, Nelson George continued the idea by stating there’s a strong presence of Jackson in the Kpop scene.

ARMY couldn’t be more proud of BTS because they are following Jackson’s steps as they create new iconic dance moves that are going to transcend generations, just like as “Thriller” did. In addition, ARMY was thankful because the South Korean boy band was recognized as one of the biggest names in the music industry nowadays.

This became the first time BTS has received a shoutout about honoring the legendary Michael Jackson. Undoubtedly, BTS’ steps are seeking greater horizons, and despite their hiatus until next year, they are going to write history as Michael Jackson did in his golden era.
