Jennifer Aniston asks fans to give money to Matthew Perry’s foundation

A few weeks ago something terrible happened for the entertainment industry, one of the most beloved actors passed away and it broke the hearts of many Sitcom fans, as the actor would have given life to a very charismatic character.

Not only was it a loss for the entire audience, the cast that participated alongside the actor showed their support on social networks, and the cast was together for more than 10 years, so the terrible news took everyone by surprise.

Jennifer Aniston has been an actress who has spoken out about the terrible news, and what she has asked is something very particular for the fans. Due to the actor’s passing, Aniston has asked them to support her partner’s foundation

“For #GivingTuesday please join me and Matty’s family in supporting his foundation – which is working to help those suffering with addiction,” Aniston, 54, wrote in a post to her Instagram Story on Tuesday.

“He would have been grateful for the love,” she added, along with a smiling face emoji surrounded by hearts.

Aniston also shared a post from the Matthew Perry Foundation’s official Instagram account featuring a quote by her late “Friends” co-star: “Addiction is far too powerful for anyone to defeat alone. But together, one day at a time, we can beat it down.”

The actress’ request has caused a lot of controversy, as there are people who claim that she should be the one to give the money, since these are very large sums that she could afford.
