In a recent interview for the prestigious Empire Magazine, Kelsey Mann, director of ‘Inside Out 2‘, explains how the role of ‘Anxiety‘ will be in the new movie, as many Disney fans have claimed to identify with this emotion that is being developed by Riley for the first time.

It’s true that there are many types of anxiety, but we’re leaning towards social anxiety, wanting to fit in and be part of a group because it’s more common for teenagers to wonder, ‘Am I good enough?“, the director revealed about the new emotion.

‘Anxiety’ is a character that became very popular from the moment the trailer was released, and the results are in, as the video broke records by reaching more than 300 million views around the world, proving that many people are waiting for the sequel to ‘Inside Out’.

The official release date is June of next year, 2024, and thanks to the statements of the director of this installment, many viewers already know more or less what will be the role that will highlight the new favorite feeling, ‘anxiety’, but that only generated higher expectations.
