Alright, Beyhive! Queen Beyoncé is calling. Why, you might ask? Well, yesterday, November 25 she premiered the “Renaissance: A Film by Beyoncé,” at the Samuel Goldwyn Theater in Beverly Hills. The movie will be bringing the “Renaissance World Tour” to the big screen, showing fans the best bits and pieces of this iconic show.
Now, the details leading up to the premiere in Beverly Hills were all a secret. It has been said that attendees knew about the location only 24 hours prior to the event actually happening. Once they were inside, all cellphones were locked in security bags, so there are currently no pictures or clips of the film moving across social media.
But that’s not everything that went down at the premiere! All guests had to attend with a “cozy opulence” dress code, which Beyoncé totally slayed. The “Break My Soul” pop queen wore a metallic dress with long gloves, a pair of silver earrings, and a bombastic long platinum blond hair.
Other celebs attending the event include the Destiny’s Child members Michelle Williams and Kelly Rowland, along with former members Letoya Luckett and LaTavia Roberson. Other celebrities in the premiere included Kris Jenner, Lizzo, Halle Bailey, Chloe Bailey, Janelle Monáe, Tyler Perry, and more!
Once at the theater, the media confirmed that Beyoncé gave guests a small sample of her most recent perfume. Also, the “Cuff It” diva had popcorn for guests in metal Renaissance-themed buckets, with water given also in metallic cups. These attendees definitely got the whole Queen Bey experience!
Now, mark your calendars: the “Renaissance: A Film by Beyoncé” will premiere on December 1 in theaters.
