Margot Robbie Has Doubts About A “Barbie 2” and worries fans

A few months ago the whole world was painted in pink due to the release of one of the most anticipated and entertaining movies that will surely be a hit for the awards season, but apparently, this would not be enough.

When the Barbie movie came out, people were amazed and did not hesitate to break many records, which will be hard to beat, because the movie was so successful that even Mattel’s sales increased dramatically. Despite all this, a second part of Barbie is still in doubt.

In the first film we saw, as is, the story of Barbie and her existential space of belonging, her relationship with the other Barbies, with her and with real life, giving us some pretty epic moments like seeing Ryan Gosling as Ken and singing songs that we will not be able to get out of our heads.

Despite the great commercial success we saw with the Barbie movie, of course there are many doubts about the existence of a next tape and the same protagonist, Margot Robbie, has given little hope for the possibility. During a recent interview with Associated Press, Margot Robbie was asked about her thoughts on a sequel to which she replied:

“I think we put everything into this one. We didn’t build it to be a trilogy or something. It was like Greta put everything into this movie, so I can’t imagine what would be next.”

Despite what the protagonist has said, there is still the possibility that a good script that convinces the actress to return to play the iconic character, although one of the favorite rumors of social networks, is that the film could have a second part where we will not see precisely Barbie, but rather, Ken, which would make the experience of the second part extremely interesting, since for many, Ken is the favorite character of the whole film.
