Jack Harlow gets trolled by fans after his Thanksgiving NFL Halftime Show in the United States

Yesterday, November 24, Jack Harlow performed at the Thanksgiving NFL Halftime Show.  The rapper was first announced to be a performer for the midgame in October. The announcement became a reality last Friday, and Jack Harlow rapped his tracks in the halftime of the Lions vs Packers game in Detroit.

Surprisingly, the rapper was trolled from the minute he stepped on stage. As soon as he walked out of a giant igloo, viewers at home mocked the entrance because it looked like a “cheap” white paper tent. Also, there was a backup dancer in a blue hat who seemed to be an ASL translator.

The clips of his performance are moving across X and Instagram, with fans and critics calling his appearance at the event “lackluster.” As if that wasn’t enough, users are also mocking him and his dancers and production team. The reasons? He sang off-pitch, his dancers weren’t in sync, and the stage looked “low-budget.”

Now, the “Lovin on Me” hitmaker decided to address the backlash and criticism he’s been getting for his show. He took to Instagram to reveal the reasons why he accepted to do the Thanksgiving NFL Halftime Show and opened up on his personal experiences.

“The main thing that pushed me to say yes to this Thanksgiving halftime show aside from the opportunity itself, is how much family I have in Detroit and all of the times I spent growing up visiting the city.”

He also revealed a painful memory on his Instagram stories, saying:

“I kid you not, my great-great-grandfather had a heart attack and passed away in the stands at the Lions Thanksgiving game in the 1960s.”

For now, Jack Harlow’s show remains probably one of the worst ones in the history of the NFL, according to the audience. Fortunately, his most recent track is a top-ten hit, so that compensates!
