The BLACKPINK members traveled to the United Kingdom, where King Charles III recognized and honored the girls for their hard work with climate change awareness. The idols were reportedly inspired by Princess Diana for their dinner attire at Buckingham Palace.
Rosé‘s outfit was designed by Saint Laurent, the brand for which she is an ambassador, and was allegedly inspired by the iconic ‘Revenge Dress‘ worn by the princess on November 20th, 1994, after her husband confessed to the media that he had been unfaithful to her with Camilla Parker.
For her part, Lisa decided to wear a long sky blue dress by Georges Hobeika, with a great similarity to the one used at the Cannes Film Festival, which took place in 1987 by the then Princess of Wales, who dazzled everyone with her incredible visual spectacle.
Jisoo, being a global ambassador for the renowned luxury brand Dior, wore one of its dresses, with a more classic and elegant style that has been pointed out as similar to the first dress in which Diana Spencer was seen in 1981 during a charity ball at Goldsmiths’ Hall.
Finally, Jennie stood out at the royal dinner in a very elegant white dress by luxury bridal brand Lihi Hod, resembling the one worn by the late Princess Diana at the London Coliseum in 1988.
