NewJeans dazzle at the 44th Blue Dragon Film Awards in South Korea

NewJeans might have wrapped up the promotions of their mini-album “Get Up” a few months ago, but it looks like that only applied to music shows! The girls are still slaying with their hits left, right, and center at different ceremonies. Last week, they rocked the stage of League of Legends Worlds 2023 with “Gods,” then they performed “Super Shy” and “OMG” at the BBMAs, and now they literally stole the show at the 44th Blue Dragon Film Awards.

The girls took the stage by storm and performed two of their most recent tracks at the award show. First, they started with an intro, as if they were texting each other through a giant screen. Then, they began singing and dancing “ETA,” showcasing the right energies and vibe. After that, they continued to rock the stage with “Super Shy.”

The audience, filled with senior Kpop idols and the most important actors over the last year, was truly loving the performance. It was incredible to see them all smiling, clapping, and singing along to NewJeans’ hits. Once they concluded their performance, everyone applauded them and made some big noise – as they should! NewJeans totally ate and left no crumbs.

As per the rest of the award show, the biggest winner of the night was the 70s set film “The Smugglers,” which took home 4 awards (out of the 15 nominations it had) for best film, best supporting actor, best new actress and best music. In addition, JYP (the CEO of JYP Entertainment) also graced the stage of the ceremony and performed a medley of his songs, causing a wide variety of reactions in attendees.
