BTS’ Jungkook has become the clear referent when it comes to success worldwide, after an astonishing solo debut with his album, “GOLDEN.” The singer gained an even bigger audience and recognition, particularly in the United States. However, the idol’s music agency, HYBE, is under treacherous ground after they announced Jungkook would collaborate with Justin Timberlake in a remix for “3D.”
Justin Timberlake was one of the hugest names in the pop industry in the early 2000s. As he became popular for his undeniable hits, he also became the villain of his relationship with Britney Spears. She revealed numerous details about Justin’s true colors in her memoir, “The Woman in Me,” and this provoked fans’ outrage and disapproval of the collaboration.
Justin Timberlake’s reputation is completely tainted and Jungkook’s fans, better known as ARMY, completely blamed HYBE for living under a rock because they are trying to taint Jungkook’s reputation as well. In addition, ARMY highly criticized the music agency for failing to recognize the wrongs that Timberlake did.
There has not been any official statement from HYBE to clear the situation about the remix. Surely HYBE’s plan was to release the song and keep introducing BTS’ Jungkook in the American market despite all odds. You can hear the new remix below:
