Cha Eunwoo was present at an unfortunate incident at the MTV Video Music Awards Japan 2023

Cha Eunwoo is one of the most beloved singers and actors in South Korea for his imminent talent at everything he puts his mind to. For this particular reason, every K-Netizen was over the cliff after the idol attended the MTV Video Music Awards Japan 2023 on November 23, and an unfortunate incident occurred during the award ceremony.

The incident occurred at 5:45 pm at “K-Arena Yokohama” in Yokohama, Japan, where a star-studded guest list made it into the award ceremony. Despite the shock from all the attendees, fortunately, no artists were injured, but one audience member was hurt and was admitted to the hospital with moderate injuries.

According to the local police, a woman in her 40s was injured in her abdomen by an assailant at the scene. It was also reported that four ambulances were dispatched to respond to the incident. An eyewitness assured this was a terrifying situation because it’s not something that usually happens.

Cha Eun Woo’s agency, Fantagio released a short statement in response to inquiries from MyDail on November 24. The agency stated that there is no separate information received concerning the artist’s safety in the local context. Cha Eunwoo has not addressed the situation, but he was awarded the ‘Global Icon Award.’
