After a statement during a live broadcast, TXT‘s Soobin confirmed that he had seen the anime titled ‘Made in Abyss‘ and now he has received strong criticism from his fans after praising the highly controversial show, which has been considered abusive for including scenes of the protagonists being tortured, hanging without clothes, wearing provocative clothing and more.
The TXT leader confessed; “To be honest I watched it all, I don’t think the first season was that funny, but the second one that’s coming out right now is very funny“, he then explained; “It’s not an anime that I want to recommend to you because it’s very strong, but the story is excellent, and personally I’m having a lot of fun watching it“.
The story of this anime follows the journey of a young orphan girl named Riku, and her half-Human friend Reg to a strange giant hole that leads to the depths of the earth, said passageway is known as the Abyss, where they must face difficult situations.
Although it is a manga that is highly criticized by society, other K-Pop idols have also confirmed that they are fans of it. NCT‘s Taeyong, SEVENTEEN‘s Woozi and ATEEZ‘s Mingi are the ones that have drawn the most attention when they reveal their like for this controversial story that is characterized by having included very inappropriate scenes.
