This November 20th, it was announced that the members of the BLACKPINK group agree not to sign exclusive contracts with YG Entertainment, this has greatly worried fans who are not very clear about what the future of the group will be and kindly ask that the agency share official information about what is happening.
By not having an exclusivity contract, the girls have the possibility of signing with other agencies to promote their individual releases, however they would continue with the support of YG Entertainment for everything related to BLACKPINK’s group projects.
Munhwa Ilbo shared an exclusive report where it revealed all this information and assured that two members of the group had already signed said contract, their names were not revealed to respect their privacy. Given all this news, YG issued a short statement.
“We are still in discussions. Nothing has been decided yet“, the agency stated regarding the status of the negotiations with BLACKPINK, it is expected that they will finally reach an agreement and share relevant information about this whole matter regarding the band’s contract.
