Big Bang’s G-Dragon has been a trending topic in the last couple of weeks in South Korean media outlets because of his alleged involvement in a drug-related case. Despite the fact that the idol has been exonerated of the charges, the police entirely based the case on one person’s confession, and the K-Netizens are still in doubt.
After a couple of heated days, new information regarding G-Dragon’s case has been unveiled. On November 19, Hankook reported that the idol had received a negative result based on his hair follicle test. He voluntarily appeared at the police station and submitted his hair, nail, and urine samples.
Further tests on the fingernail samples have not been revealed yet, as the Incheon Metropolitan Police are still conducting a detailed investigation. G-Dragon himself has addressed the K-Netizen’s doubts in a short convo with Yonhap News, as he stated he has never taken drugs and has never given them to anyone.
G-Dragon’s case has become the talk of the town and probably one of the most controversial cases to date in the Kpop industry. Stay tuned for further news on G-Dragon’s case.
