BLACKPINK’s Rosé has been the trending topic in the last couple of days after her appearance at a mental health awareness event hosted by First Lady, Jill Biden, in the United States. The idol took the stage to talk about the struggles famous people suffer regarding their mental health.
The event was held at the Apple Park campus in Cupertino, California, where Rosé expressed her feelings about having a large social media following. She stated she feels vulnerable, particularly when people are critical because she always works hard on something. There is always somebody who has their own opinion, taking the narrative far from the original fact.
In addition, Jill Biden also addressed the situation by expressing older people usually don’t speak about mental health because they always feel like there is shame attached to it. Then, she shared her experience with her grandchildren who are always really open to talk about anything, and she feels less shame.
Undoubtedly, BLACKPINK’s Rosé has always shown interest in mental health events as she is one of the most popular idols worldwide, and she always tries to use her voice and platform to make the world a better place. Her initiative with Jill Biden is greatly received by the fans, who always put their mental health first overall.
