Harry Styles’ mom defends her son’s new shaved head on Instagram

Earlier this week, we told you Harry Styles had completely made a style change-up. The “As It Was” hitmaker went from having long dark brown hair to having no hair at all! This new vibe for Harry was first sported at a U2 concert in Las Vegas, which he attended with his possible girlfriend Taylor Russell. Then, the singer made it official and posted a snap with his shaved head on Wednesday.

The new buzz-cut had a wide range of reactions: on one hand, we’ve got those Stylers (that’s the name Harry Styles fans wear proudly) who aren’t loving the change, some even say he doesn’t have any hair to style! On the other hand, we got Stylers who were less funny about it and accepted the new shaved head the pop star is rocking.

After all this buzz the haircut caused, Harry Style’s mom, Anne Twist, jumped in and defended her son from bullies and Internet trolls. That’s right! Momma Anne was incredibly SHOOK at the fact that some fans would mock or straight-up act rude for just a haircut! She took to her Instagram account and clapped back at these haters, referencing one of Harry’s songs:

When you consider that H has a legacy of kindness and inclusion, has always made every effort to make everyone feel seen and appreciated for exactly who they are … there’s an irony in the negativity he’s been shown for having a haircut. Sorry but I don’t get it.

We don’t get it either, Momma Anne! Harry is just all about that “Treat People With Kindness” vibe, so we can’t wrap our heads around a haircut provoking so much negativity in people. Chill and let Harry rock that new style.
