South Korean police started G-Dragon’s investigation based solely on one person’s confession

G-Dragon has been the trending topic since last week after a series of accusations against him in a drug-related case emerged. The accusations were dismissed by the Incheon Metropolitan Police because there wasn’t enough evidence to fuel the investigation. This time, the police department confessed they based the case solely on one person’s confession.

The K-Netizens have been over the cliff because of G-Dragon’s case. Some of them believe he is guilty and others believe he is not. On November 13, KST the Incheon Metropolitan Police admitted they started an investigation without any physical evidence, and their process was questioned.

A police official started a press conference at the National Police Agency by stating that the investigation of drug crimes involves not only the results of the National Forensic Service’s analysis but also paying attention to the statements of those involved to determine whether there is a charge or not.

The official continued his press statement, confessing the process wasn’t easy because the fact was known during the pre-booking investigation before clear evidence was secure. However, the investigation was being conducted in accordance with legal procedures. In addition, he also cleared the rumors regarding the investigation as they started it based solely on statements alone.

Previously, Mr. “A” accused G-Dragon of leaving a suspicious wrapping paper in the company’s restroom. There has not been any statement from G-Dragon or his attorney but the K-Netizens demand justice due to the false allegations towards the idol.
