BLACKPINK’s Rosé breaks a record as the first Kpop female idol to have two TikTok videos with almost 30 million likes

BLACKPINK’s Rosé has surely demonstrated her big influence not only in the South Korean market but overseas after she released her debut EP, “R” in 2021. The idol has also demonstrated her influence in social media as she already broke a record on TikTok.

Rosé is the one to look up to when it comes to viral videos: every time she posts one, she garners millions of views in a matter of hours. Even though multiple videos have surpassed the mark of 100 million views on the platform, her fans, better known as BLINKS, always highlight she knows how to keep everyone entertained.  As an example, Rosé’s clip performing Jisoo’s “Flower Challenge” obtained more than 255 million views.

The idol’s popularity on the social platform is undeniable, and she demonstrates it with this amazing record. She became the first Kpop artist to have two videos surpassing 30 million likes on TikTok. She achieved this amazing record with the “Flower Challenge” and the “Jiggle Jiggle Challenge.” 

Rosé places as the second person on the platform to reach this amazing record, as she is only behind the TikTok star, Khaby Lame. BLINKS praised Rosé because of this unique achievement, which surely is going to be one for the books, as she solidifies her status as one of the most popular idols in the Kpop scene.
