BTSJungkook has been the talk of the town since the release of his highly-anticipated album, “GOLDEN,” which was released on November 3. The album quickly became one of the most popular and successful ones of this year. This shows after he broke a record in Billboard 200 as a Korean solo act.

On November 12, Billboard was in charge of bringing marvelous news to the Golden Maknae’s fans, better known as the ARMY. “GOLDEN” debuted at No. 2 on the Billboard 200 after achieving the biggest U.S. sales week of any K-Pop soloist in history.  In addition, the album debuted straight at No.1 on Billboard’s Top Album Sales chart.

“GOLDEN” earned a total of 210,200 equivalent album units during the week ending on November 9. Thanks to this, Jungkook now surpasses his BTS mates’ sales in the U.S. In the first week, Jimin, Suga, and V also reached No. 2 on the Billboard 200 with less albums sold.
