Britney Spears has been all over social media recently thanks to her highly anticipated memoir “The Woman In Me.” In the book she talked about different celebs including, Mariah Carey, Justin Timberlake, and Christina Aguilera, but it looks like she ran out of pages and couldn’t include a super important one: Taylor Swift.
So what’s the buzz all about? Fear not! The princess of pop only had nice things to say about the “Anti-Hero” hitmaker. It all happened through Instagram, where Britney took to her profile to post a snap and share the most lovely story. It turns out that this iconic pair met way back in 2002 when Taylor Swift was just a little girl and Britney Spears was promoting her “Oops!… I Did It Again Tour.”
The story goes like this: Britney’s assistant knocked on her door and told her a girl wanted to sing for her. Of course, Britney, who has an eye for talent, let that Taylor Swift kid in, and she took the opportunity to sing “a beautiful song with her guitar.” The moment was recorded for the books, and now Queen Brit decided to show the Internet how that moment came to be in the cutest picture ever. Britney Spears praises Taylor Swift in new post, calling her ‘the most iconic pop woman of our generation’:

Britney went on and called Taylor “the most iconic pop woman of our generation” – and she would be right! Unfortunately, the wholesome post didn’t last for too long. In the last few lines, Britney dissed her mom, Lynn Spears. She told her to keep those three dolls, saying, “Nope, I don’t want them. Keep it all. I honestly don’t care anymore.” So, there you have it: Britney Spears totally dragged her mom while praising Taylor Swift – talk about versatility.
