The Kid LAROI finally dropped his highly anticipated debut studio album, “The First Time.” This collection of bops was supported by other singles such as “BLEED,” “WHAT JUST HAPPENED,” and of course the mega smash “TOO MUCH,” which features vocals from Kpop king, Jungkook, and an infectious rap verse from Central Cee.
Now, while we all know “TOO MUCH” is probably one of the biggest songs on the record, we haven’t really gotten any info about how it came to be. That was up until now, though! The Kid LAROI recently spilled the beans about the creation process of this jam and even shared the juicy details on how Jungkook and Justin Bieber were part of the song.
So this pop sensation sat down with Zach Sang on his interview show and said everything we needed to know! First, he confessed he had been working on the song in the studio, and JBiebs simply jumped into the song to sprinkle some magic. Here’s what he said:
“I was in the studio, I had a room and Justin, coincidentally, was in another room. We didn’t plan it. But, we couldn’t find a hook.”
So, Justin Bieber saved the day and recorded the hook for the song we all love, “If we had the chance and the time to spend, would you do it again? Would you do it again?” It was originally an idea the Australian sensation had with Justin.
Then, LAROI was thinking about how to include the BTS member in his project. At first, he wanted to ask JK to get on a different record, but he didn’t know “if it was the right one.” But plot twist! Everything clicked and The Kid LAROI admitted he reached out to Jungkook to get on the track.
And voilà! That’s how history was made. Catch the full interview here:
