Taylor Swift has been traveling the world with “The Eras Tour,” and now she’s kicking off her concerts in a different part of the world. The artist has begun her Latin American leg in Argentina, which started at the River Plate Stadium on November 9. After the first successful date, she had to postpone the 2nd date because of the bad weather.
The artist released a short but sweet statement to her Argentinian fans, better known as Swifties. She started off by stating she loves rain shows, but that she is never going to put her fans or crew at risk. Just hours before the pop star hit the stage, she decided to reschedule the second concert for Sunday, because the weather was truly chaotic. In addition, she joked around by stating she is going to stay a little longer in Argentina.
This statement divided Swifites because they stated Taylor performed the entire set in the pouring rain at Gillet Stadium in Foxborough, Massachusetts on May 20. On the other hand, many fans emphasized that Taylor’s crew made the right decision by keeping everyone safe.
The show was rescheduled for November 12, becoming the last date in Argentina. Surely, Swift is going to repay those fans who are eagerly waiting to see her perform with some special surprise song during her acoustic set. There is no further information regarding the show for now.
