G-Dragon has been the talk of the town since he was booked by the Incheon Metropolitan Police Agency because of alleged drug-related charges, which sparked a controversy among the K-Netizens. Despite the idol testing negative on drug tests, there are some strong affirmations that he tampered the results with evidence linked to body hair removal.
After the tense atmosphere ceased, the South Korean media outlets started spreading false information. The articles stated G-Dragon had visited the police office with all body hair removed except for his head hair, and this made the police suspect he was attempting to tamper with the evidence.
Immediately, Kim Soo Hyun, G-Dragon’s attorney issued a statement to the media press, refuting these horrible claims. Then, he announced they were going to take legal action against the media for spreading false reports about the idol.
The statement started by addressing that G-Dragon shaved all of his body hair except his head hair before the police investigation. Kim Soo Hyun immediately denied these claims and stated the court rejected the case due to a lack of evidence. Consequently, no seizure warrant related to hair has been issued.
In addition, the attorney explained G-Dragon told the police he usually shaves his body hair. However, since the investigation was initiated he didn’t shave at all, so there’s not any kind of evidence that points he was attempting to tamper with evidence. Kim Soo Hyun also expressed his discontent about the false allegations, which constitute a serious case of defamation.
G-Dragon hasn’t expressed his feelings regarding this nightmare-like situation. However, he has proved he is innocent, and he is not linked to the drug allegations. Surely, his attorney is going to release a couple of statements in case the South Korean media outlets don’t cease the misinformation spreading about the idol.
