Speculation about the return of some iconic Marvel characters to the screen has been spread through social networks and different media, but no information has been official. However, recently, the CEO of the company decided to talk about the rumors of the return of Scarlett Johansson and Robert Downey Jr. to the MCU.
Kevin Feige, with the intention of putting an end to the recent rumors spread in the late months, shared his opinion through ComicBook for ET Entertainment: “I really love Robert; he’s part of the Marvel family, but regarding his return, I don’t know; we’ll see later“.
On the other hand, he also clarified the following: “We are doing a separate project with Scarlett“. This lets us know that the relationship between the interpreters and Marvel’s management is well established, but still, it seems that the idea of bringing back to life and the lead characters of the MCU is not in the near future.
Certainly, the franchise is not going through its best moment with respect to the last productions that have been made since the results have not been as expected; however, the next projects promise to be a fundamental part of the story and hope to recover all the fans of previous installments.
