Okay, BTS and Jungkook stans, calling on you! As you probably know, our Kpop prince, Jungkook, released his first studio album, “GOLDEN,” about a week ago. His majestic piece of work was hyped to the skies by fans – and this shows on the sales reports for the record.
So, Hits Daily Double (HITSDD) spilled the tea that the “Seven” hitmaker will be selling a total of 200,000 copies of his album in the United States. These projections place Jungkook at the number two spot on the Billboard 200, which is the chart that ranks music albums in America. Not bad, right? He’s securing the top 2 on the biggest music market in the world!
But wait? Who’s JK’s biggest rival for the #1 spot on Billboard? It’s no other than pop queen Taylor Swift, who debuted at the top of the chart with her “1989 (Taylor’s Version)” last week. Predictions say she might be keeping her throne in the album realm, leaving Jungkook the prince’s crown.
‘Golden’ by Jungkook is now projected to debut at #2 on the Billboard 200 with an updated 200k units.
It is within 25k units of the #1 spot, according to HITS Daily Double. pic.twitter.com/VYAKiZqtnR
