Britney Spears has been the hot trending topic of the year after she released her memoir, “The Woman In Me” on October 24. Spears made a couple of blunt statements about her relationship with Justin Timberlake back in the early 2000s and Timbaland, Timberlake’s long-time friend, made some reckless comments about it.
Timbaland attended a panel interview where he addressed that Justin Timberlake has been back in the headlines amid the release of Spear’s memoir. He asked the reporter, “She going crazy, right?” Then, he said he wanted to call Justin to tell him to put a muzzle on Britney.
The interview immediately became viral because of Timbaland’s comments about the pop star. Her fans sent hate trains towards him on social media, and the general public showed their discomfort regarding the producer’s comments.
On November 7, Timbaland addressed the situation, asking for forgiveness because of his comments. He wanted to apologize to Britney’s fans and her because he is aware of respecting women. At the moment, Britney hasn’t given any statements about Timbaland’s first comments, nor about his subsequent apology.
