SEVENTEEN fans recently woke up to some major news. Why, you might wonder? Well, the SEVENTEEN guys were able to debut in the second spot on the Billboard 200. In case you need some context, this chart keeps track of the biggest albums and mini-albums in the United States, so our Kpop kings in the second spot totally shows they hold some true star power in America.
These are the facts: the 13-piece boy group was able to sell about 100,000 mini-albums of “SEVENTEENTH HEAVEN”, with 98,000 of those being physical sales. Thanks to this, SEVENTEEN’s agency (Pledis Entertainment) scores yet another top 3 entry in the United States. After the big news, CARAT (that’s the name SEVENTEEN fans wear proudly) quickly took to social media to celebrate these results.
Now, the SEVENTEEN guys are no strangers to charting on Billboard. Actually, they have previously seen some of their other albums and EPs get love in these charts as well. For example, their past mini-album, “FML” also got the second spot earlier this year, and their album “Face the Sun” peaked at number 7.
