Shawn Mendes tries to congratulate Jungkook of BTS but fails in the process!

Okay Shawn Mendes and Jungkook stans, gather around! JK recently dropped his highly anticipated debut studio album, “GOLDEN.” This hit record has some major names behind it, including Shawn Mendes himself! Why, you might wonder? Well, he has writing credits for one of the songs on the album, titled “Hate You.”

With all the attention Jungkook has been getting these days, it is no surprise that Shawn wanted to jump in and also send some love to the BTS member. So, the “Stitches” crooner took to his Instagram account to congratulate Jungkook on the album and the song he wrote for him.

“Happy to be a part of this, congratulations.” Shawn posted.

But plot twist! Little did he know he’d tagged the wrong account on his Insta story. After this, both the BTS and the Shawn Mendes ARMY (that’s the name of both fandoms) quickly told the singer he’d tagged a fan profile.

There were no other stories after this one, but this was just some love Shawn Mendes sent to Jungkook!
