John Cena knew that his work could expand much more if he moved into the world of cinema, so he did not hesitate at any time to do so, officially becoming an actor in major productions that have been well received by the public.
After being well recognized as a WWE wrestler and following in the footsteps of the legendary The Rock, John Cena tried his luck in the world of Hollywood and did quite well, but now, it could be that his magic is ending, since his new movie would not have the approval that we all would like.
John Cena’s new movie is a total flop.
The famous actor of Peacemaker or Fast and Furious, has been opened the doors of the cinema, so it was expected that his other productions would be as well accepted as the previously mentioned titles, but apparently the critics do not agree at all and have made it noticeable.
Freelance is the new title that has John Cena as part of its cast and the synopsis says the following:
Mason Pettits, a former special forces agent is stuck in a boring office job. He reluctantly accepts an assignment to provide private security for Claire Wellington, a failed journalist, while interviewing Juan Venegas, a ruthless – but impeccably dressed – dictator. Just as he is about to get the scoop of his life, a military coup breaks out. To get out alive, the quirky trio must manage to survive the assassins, the jungle and themselves.
Unfortunately, on the famous site Rotten Tomatoes, the movie has had a fatal development, as critics have indicated that they didn’t like it at all. With 24 Reviews the film has a 0% approval rating, while the audience has given it a 74% approval rating with more than 50 users, indicating that once again there is this big difference between the audience and the specialized critics.
What do you think about it? Do you think the critics are right and that it deserves the rating it has or do you think it is an exaggeration?
