After the release of his solo album ‘GOLDEN’, the latest episode of variety program ‘Suchwita’ premiered, where BTS‘ Jungkook confessed the setbacks he faced during his appearance on ‘Good Morning America‘ and other events that prevented him from doing his show.
In the funny episode, Suga was curious to know what the process of promoting an album in a country like the United States was like and how it felt to do the recordings on the country major programs such as ‘Good Morning America’ (GMA) and BBC’s ‘Live Lounge’.
Jungkook commented that it hasn’t been easy; he explained that for his performance on ‘Good Morning America’ he had to leave early due to a thunderstorm threat, so he didn’t have time to rehearse. “I was told that I had to start pre-recording, and I thought, “Huh? What? so soon“.
He also revealed that the situation was overwhelming and he was in no condition because he didn’t have a chance to practice: “I didn’t even feel good at that time; I was scared, so I panicked“. However, he went out and was able to give a good show because the ARMYs present supported him and gave him the necessary confidence.
Finally, his live performance at GMA was unfortunately cancelled due to the thunderstorm, as it was an outdoor summer concert, and they did not want to risk the safety of the BTS member and the fans who might attend the event.
