A foundation is created in honor of Matthew Perry for addictions

The terrible news recently broke that one of the world’s most beloved actors had passed away. Apparently by drowning according to official reports, but so far, for privacy reasons, not much information has been released about it, although it seems that it will take a few more weeks for the reports to give their verdict.

What has not been able to wait is everything that happens around the death of the acclaimed actor, since now a foundation has been created in his name that could help many people who are going through difficult times and with the help of the foundation, it will be much easier to move forward to have a better life.

The foundation under the name of Matthew Perry aims to help people who are going through a bad time because of addictions, as let’s remember that at some point, the actor recognized by the Friends series, spoke openly about the problems he faced with drug and alcohol abuse, as he shared in his biographical book Friends, Lovers and the Big Terrible Thing.”

“In the spirit of Matthew Perry’s enduring commitment to helping others struggling with the disease of addiction, we are embarking on a journey to honor his legacy by establishing the Matthew Perry Foundation, guided by his own words and experiences and driven by his passion to make a difference in as many lives as possible,” states a statement from the foundation.

The organization is funded and maintained by the public charity National Philanthropic Trust. And it was launched last Friday following news of the actor’s passing.
