BTS’ Jungkook has been the talk of the town since the start of his solo career with his smash single, “Seven.” The idol made some heavy promotion on his debut album, “GOLDEN,” and the efforts paid off after he dominated iTunes charts around the world.
Jungkook stopped the world after he released “GOLDEN,” on November 3, this fascinating album was accompanied by the title track, “Standing Next to You.” Both the album and the single were at the top of iTunes Charts in several countries around the world.
BigHit Music, Jungkook’s music agency, congratulated the Golden Maknae for reaching No. 1 on iTunes Top Albums in at least 77 regions. Surely, this demonstrates Jungkook’s great influence overseas with his debut album, which is entirely in English. In addition, “Standing Next to You” went straight to No. 1 on the iTunes Top Songs charts in 71 different regions.
Jungkook’s album, “GOLDEN” already broke some records in the Asian Market as the album became the first solo album in Hanteo history to sell over 2 million copies on the first day and also break the record for the highest-week sales of any solo album in a matter of one day.
