BTS’ Jungkook achieves an astonishing record as a soloist in Hanteo history

BTS’ Jungkook has become widely popular because of his catchy lyrics and great music videos. The Golden Makane released his debut album, “GOLDEN,” on November 3 along with the title track, “Standing Next to You” to promote the album, just one day into its release, “GOLDEN” has made history in the Hanteo charts.

According to the chart, Jungkook’s album had already sold a record-breaking total of 2,147,389 copies in just one day, making it the first album by a solo artist ever to sell 2 million copies within the first day of its release.

Those records were previously held by BTS’ V whose debut album, met success in the Hanteo charts by selling 1,672,138 copies on its first day and 2,101,974 in the first week of release.
