All right, aespa stans, go savage! As we’ve been telling you over the last few weeks, the aespa girls have been teasing us and dropping some sneak peeks here and there for their upcoming mini-album, “Drama.” MY (that’s the name the fandom wears proudly) has been blessed with short clips and spectacular visuals in photos, but this time the real deal is here: we’ve finally gotten snippets of the songs on the EP, along with the visuals and the different versions for Drama.
Now, get this fact: Drama is going to be 6 tracks long, and it sees a little bit of a change-up from aespa’s previous poppier sound, the one they had for “Spicy.” The first 3 songs on the mini-album are totally going for that darker sound, relying on the “girl-crush” concept aespa has slayed with in the past. In contrast, the final three tracks are much more playful and sweet. Here’s the tracklist:
But wait, the surprises aren’t done just yet! Our 4 Kpop queens also dropped the album details, showing all the different versions fans will be able to get their music in. Here’s the tea: the EP will come in 5 different forms: “The Drama Version” (which features all members on the cover), “The Giant Version,” “The Scene Version,” “The Sequence Version,” and finally the adorable and practical “SMini Version.” It’s up to you to decide what concept and aesthetics you vibe with more, but one thing’s for sure: you got a lot of options!
The aespa girls will be dropping their highly anticipated mini-album on November 10, both in streaming platforms and physical forms. Let us know if you’re hyped in the comments below.
