BLACKPINK’s Lisa has been the talk of the town since her debut at the Parisian cabaret, “Crazy Horse,” because of her electrifying performance. Despite the outrage of the K-netizens, she excelled at every challenge, except the backlash of the Chinese community, Weibo, which ended up terminating her account.

On November 1, Lisa’s personal Weibo account was no longer available because she allegedly violated the platform’s rules.  It was previously reported that the Thai rapper faced backlash in China because of her involvement with the burlesque show.

Despite the fact that Lisa didn’t show any nudity, China has always been known for its strict laws against its citizens and celebrities participating or watching in any show related to nudity and obscenity, and Lisa was no exception to this rule.

Some other Asian celebrities also were banned from Weibo because they attended Lisa’s performance at “Crazy Horse”. There have not been any official statements from Lisa or Weibo to clarify this uncomfortable situation.
