Rowoon received mixed reviews from netizens because of his chest-baring outfit

Rowoon has been widely known for his groundbreaking role in “Destined with You,” which led him to leave his group, SF9, and focus solely on his acting career. On October 30, “The Matchmakers” premiered and Rowoon debuted a new chest-baring outfit to attend an event in order to promote his latest K-Drama. However, he received hundreds of mixed reviews from the netizens.

“The Matchmakers” became popular even before its release because of the interesting story between Sim Jung-Woo (Rowoon) who was set to become the princess’s husband. However, during the wedding ceremony, the princess dies, and he is not able to take the government position. In addition, he cannot remarry, but he meets Jung-Soon-Deok (Cho Yi Hyun) and feelings start to bloom.

Rowoon and Yi Hyun appeared together for a production conference on October 30. Despite the media covering the event in order to get details about the series, all eyes were on Rowoon’s unusual outfit that left almost everyone with a bad taste in their mouths. The netizens were the first to criticize his outfit on social media, stating this is not an elevated outfit for a production conference.

Rowoon appeared in the event by wearing a chest-bearing flowing white top and oversized black pants. Despite Rowoon’s stylist taking the risk on it, he missed the mark as several people started having mixed reviews about it. The netizens even stated this was the first time Rowoon looked cheap, and he should reconsider this with his stylist, especially for his following outfits in order to promote, “The Matchmakers.”
