SEVENTEEN has been the talk of the town because of his latest release, “SEVENTEENTH HEAVEN,” thanks to the unprecedented success it had even before being released. The idols keep improving and excelling in all kinds of challenges in the K-pop scene with ease.
On October 23, YG Plus, SEVENTEEN’s EP distributor gave hints that the boy band broke their own personal record of the highest stock pre-orders surpassing their 10th mini-album, “FML” which previously, held the record with 4.550.214 million sales.
The rumors and speculations regarding whether the boy band broke the record or not are over. Hanteo Chart was in charge of bringing amazing news to their fans, better known as Carat. The chart reported that “SEVENTEENTH HEAVEN” sold an incredible 5,091,887 copies in the first week of its release, from October 23 to October 29.
This marks two important records for Seventeen, they officially broke their own record of first-week sales record, and they became the first artists in Hateo Chart history to sell over 5 million copies of an album in its first-week tracking.
SEVENTEEN’s 11th mini-album “SEVENTEENTH HEAVEN” includes eight tracks with a primarily upbeat record. This album is a clear celebration of the boy band’s career, the atmosphere of joy brought by the lead single, “God of Music” really showed their performance skills, and the new collaboration with the American producer and DJ, Marshmello in “SOS” quickly became the Carat’s favorite song.
