With the actors’ strike in Hollywood and the pause in major audiovisual productions, there are people who have shown that they are not willing to give up because of the problems and that they still have content to offer, even if it is a concert on the big screen.
Taylor Swift recently premiered her concert on film breaking records and making the film world tremble, since with a movie that was only screened on weekends broke records at the box office and even surpassed in money to productions like The Killers of the Flower Moon and following in these footsteps, Beyonce will also release her tour in theaters.
Beyonce’s Renaissance Tour now has a release date.
Now we will have the opportunity to see Queen B on the big screen, and since her tour began, the networks were filled with content making it become a media hit that would now be ready to reach more places where it was not expected to see the singer, giving us the opportunity to be part of her concert even in the comfort of a movie theater seat.
Singer Beyoncé has signed a direct deal with AMC to distribute the movie Renassaince World Tour, which will be released on December 1. This deal is similar to what singer Taylor Swift did with her The Eras Tour a few weeks ago.
This is not the first time that Beyonce is part of the film world, as she started in the movies in 2001, when she was part of Destiny’s Child, with the film Carmen: A Hip Hop Opera, as well as in major productions such as Dreamgirls and the most recent film of The Lion King, which was a Live Action adaptation that is available on the Disney + streaming platform.
What do you think about it? Will you go see Beyonce’s concert in theaters or have you already seen her in person?
