Jessi is widely popular for being one of the veteran soloists who are still in the game. The idol met success in social media because of her song, “ZOOM” last year, and she confessed she was shocked because the song performed really well globally.
The idol was the most recent guest on Zach Sang’s talk show where she had a little convo about her earlier career, her new label, MOREVISION, her archived music, and undoubtedly, her hit song, “ZOOM.”
Jessi released “ZOOM” in April 2022 under her former label, P NATION by admitting she barely did any promotion after releasing the song. She only released it at the time because no one else at the music agency was dropping new music. To Jessi’s surprise, the song performed really well, even fellow idols started dancing to the catchy track.

During the interview, Jessi also revealed she makes songs with ease because once she heard the beat for “ZOOM” in the studio, she knew she could make it work. P NATION asked her to drop the song, and she did it without a second thought. However, she was amazed by the song’s performance on social media because she stated the effort she puts into a song doesn’t always equate to its success.
Jessi signed with “MORE VISION” and she revealed to her new CEO, Jay Park she has a different vision in mind for her future music projects, she wants to start releasing fun pop songs. In addition, she revealed her new song, “Gum” shares some similarities with “ZOOM.” Do you expect “Gum” to perform as well as “ZOOM”?
