Harry Potter is a universe that has enchanted young and old, as it is a saga of books that quickly became a sensation, so therefore, the movies based on it have also been a success, to such a degree that we even have plays that talk about the boy who survived.
After the release of Harry Potter, people wanted more, so came the Fantastic Beasts movie, giving 3 installments that unfortunately were declining and did not achieve the same impact as Harry Potter, so the bad news was already coming, but so far the director has said something that not everyone could like.
Dumbledore’s Secrets’ director delivers bad news about a new movie
Filmmaker David Yates, confirmed to Inside Total Film’ things we feared. The director of Dumbledore’s Secrets attended the show to present his new film there, but ended up answering other things about the Harry Potter universe films.
“You know what we’re doing with ‘Fantastic Beasts’ right now? Everything is on hold,” Yates shared.
“I’m sure at some point Newt might come back? Who knows? But, at the moment, we’re not having any in-depth conversations.”

With all that the filmmaker confirmed that he is at a point in his life where he is doing other productions and is not focusing on something to do with the universe of the world’s most famous wizard.
“It was a wonderful experience making that film. But we’re all taking a break and it’s great because it allows me to do things like this [‘Pain Hustlers’] and others that I have in the pipeline that I’m excited about,” Yates concluded on the subject.
